9mm Glock Concealed Carry - We take a look at the top Glock candidates to be your next concealed carry pistol. What makes them different and which one might be the best fit?
If you've decided to become a Glock owner, congratulations! You join millions of defensive shooters around the world. Glock not only makes some of the most popular handguns in the world, but also makes other options for public defense.

Glock has a solid reputation for making some of the most reliable (and affordable) handguns in the world. These durable guns are made of Polymer 2, a super strong nylon base invented by Gaston Glock himself. This lightweight plastic is designed to be stronger and more durable than most metal alloys. Polymer 2 is resistant to corrosion, moisture, extreme temperatures and shock.

Glock also builds its popular pistols with fewer parts than other designs. Most other pistols are made with twice the parts of a standard Glock. This means the Glock has fewer parts to break or break, which adds another level of reliability.
Simple design and durable materials make Glock pistols easy to attach. Without any special maintenance, Glock pistols can survive the habits of many careless gun owners. They work reliably even when wet, dirty or neglected.
Above all, we think it's always good practice to go out and shoot your carry gun. No amount of words on the internet can change the way a gun feels in your hand on the firing range. Also, holding the cover and "trying the gun" may not make sense.
That said, if you appreciate the capacity and can handle it comfortably, there are plenty of American shooters who carry a concealed carry Glock 19. It is a good choice for concealed carry.

Glocks come in a variety of models, and some are more concealable than others. If you're new to the world of Glocks, sifting through the noise to find their best concealed carry models takes some effort. Take it easy. We are here to help.
We've highlighted Glock's best concealed carry carry offerings to help you find the model that's right for you. Of course, there is no one-size-fits-all CCW. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide what you can shoot professionally and what works best for your work style. However, we sincerely hope that this list will help you find the CCW Glock of your dreams.
While the G19 is a solid shot in the world of concealed carry pistols, there are good reasons why it is the most popular CCW gun on the market today. The G19 is a reliable, well rounded pistol. It has an ergonomic design and has enough material for easy operation even by inexperienced shooters. It's slightly smaller (and concealable) than a full-size Glock sidearm (Glock 17), but large enough to reduce recoil and muzzle rise for faster, more accurate follow-up shots.
Glock 19: Experiences And Tips For Concealed Carry
Compared to the G17, the G19 sacrifices only two rounds. With a 15-plus-one-round capacity, the double-stack G19 has a better average round count (if a concealed carry weapon). And every round counts in a defensive situation, especially since magazine changes can be a problem for casual shooters, especially in high-adrenaline shooting situations.
A double-decker design (providing enough circular power) would be a potential drawback. Since the G19 holds its cartridges in two separate bars, it has a smaller grip. This wide fit can be difficult to conceal for some wearers, especially under form-fitting clothing or sturdy items.
However, the incredible popularity of the Glock 19 has spawned many holsters and accessories for this gun. There's no shortage of gorge options for this model, some of which have been specifically designed to minimize printing.
Their Model 26 took all the features of the Glock G19 and reduced it to the size and weight of a small muzzleloader revolver. Its compact size makes it very easy to conceal with the G26 (nicknamed "Baby Glock").

However, concealment is only part of the CCW equation. Finally, you need an accurate firearm. Your real weapon is when you come out of hiding to fight a dangerous threat. And the light weight, short sight radius, and limited grip make the G26 very difficult to shoot accurately. However, at defensive ranges, most shooters shouldn't notice much of a difference.
The internet is full of "experts" saying this pink gun is perfect for little hands. Don't listen to them. Small hands don't need a small gun. In fact, smaller shooters (sensible and with smaller hands) can shoot better with larger guns. Smaller guns tend to recoil faster, which can be difficult for younger shooters to handle. A gun with more real estate in the hand feels more stable in the hand, even if the hand is soft.
That being said, if you have big, brown hands, you'll have a hard time fitting all your fingers into this grip. Fortunately, there are amazing grip extensions on the market that solve the problem.
If you thought the G26 was small, the Glock 43 is even smaller. This model certainly pushes the limits of dimensions while maintaining the realistic shooting of a Glock.

The G43 doesn't have a lot of area in the grip, which can cause some problems with holding the gun steady for consistent shots. Glock solved this problem by adding a beavertail that helps the grip stay high and tight. The grip also features an aggressive texture to keep the tool from slipping in your hand, even with sweaty palms.
The G43 doesn't have limited clearance, it also has a short barrel and weighs 20.64 ounces fully loaded. As you reduce the size and weight of the pistol, you also reduce the grip. Shooters must expect Wilder recoil and the short sight radius will have some effect on accuracy, especially at extended ranges.
At just over an inch in diameter, the single-stack G43 has one of the smallest profiles on the market. If you need a tool that can almost disappear under everything in your closet, this is it.
If you want to go slower than the G43, the Glock 42 is the smallest Glock on the block. It has a slim, single-stack profile that makes the gun ideal for deep concealment. This baby is less than an inch thick and weighs less than a pound, even with a full magazine!

Although the G42 pocket pistol disappears like magic, it has all the usual drawbacks of a mouse pistol. It's nearly impossible to hold steady, even if you have average-sized hands. The good news is that there is no recoil thanks to its .380 Auto chambering.
Honestly, it shoots surprisingly well for such a small gun. Don't expect it to shoot as smoothly as a Glock 19. It's not exactly a rifle and you won't be shooting at 50 yards.
As we mentioned, the G42 fires .380 Auto, which is not the first choice of a defensive shooter. And since this model only holds six rounds, it makes a better backup gun than an EDC gun.
If you want to stand out from the crowd and be drawn to the new .357 Sig, there is a concealed carry Glock for you. The compact G32 is the same dimensions as the G19, chambered only for the .357 Sig. Place these two guns next to each other and you will have to look very carefully to tell them apart.
