My goal is to keep the cost around $1,000 and with something that Glock mags have used and can compare to the B&T APC9, which impressed me when compared to the carbine and 300BLK SBR.

The new Dirty Bird DB9 receiver has the best build quality I've seen in a lower caliber gun. It is made by New Frontier Armory from 7075-T6 solid block
And has a black anodized coating. The lower also accepts a Glock magazine, which is a major requirement for me.
In some cases, the receiver is impressed. My mags drop easily and free using standard and full factory Glock mags. Using a standard mil-spec bolt, the round bolt end will open well in the course of 30 plus magazines.
Also of note, I built the receiver with an NBS ambi safety selector, a Strike Industries Extended Latch Charging Handle, and a MagpulMOEpistol grip. Finally, a pair of simple Magpul MBUS were added.

While discussing this build with AR15Discounts, I decided I wanted something a little more mil-spec, but not too expensive, since again I was trying to beat the B&T APC9 at half the cost.
It doesn't make much sense to go over the trigger. To be honest, I pull the trigger quickly to hit a large steel plate at 15-20 yards... For me, the ALG ACT Combat trigger is the best solution. It's actually like cleaning
I've heard a lot of good things about the ODIN Works 9mm bolt carrier group and I was not disappointed when it arrived. This is a 9mm bolt carrier that is advertised to work well
Credit must go to this bolt having an M-16 external extraction vs internal style can be problematic.

For the barrel we ended up using a modern Ballistic Advantage 8.3" 9mm series. Now that I plan to keep the gun in full stock, I'm thinking of a shorter 4" barrel under the guard with an Octane 9 suppressor. looks down.can look very thin.
Although, I like the overall profile. This is a great barrel to build simply because it is compatible with all styles of Colt and Glock carrier groups and magazines.
I was sent the FDE version of the Strike Industries Strike Rail M-LOK Handguard in 10"...with the idea that the 1.57" inside dimensions of my suppressor would accommodate the Octane 9 with some room to spare. Outside dimensions of the can .
This was my first experience with the Strike Industries Handguard and I was impressed. To be honest, I've heard negatives about it being imported... FDE looks great too.
Buildsheet: Downsizing To A 9mm Pcc In A Small Package
Since the suppressor is not on the firearm, I chose to put the Flash Can Tactical Blitzkrieg on it. This looks good. If I'm pretending enough, it's about what it would look like if we went with a 4 inch barrel and a suppressor.
I have seen the KAK Shockwave before and the cheap stabilizer does not disappoint. It compares very well with the stable support in APC9. From a practical standpoint when comparing the two when shooting, you won't notice the difference.
The KAK Shockwave is mounted on the KAK Shockwave Pistol Reciever Extension/Buffer Tubepaired with an amyl carabiner buffer spring. Seat anextended KAK 9mm Carbine buffer.
A 9mm AR carbine, the 9mm BCG usually recoils farther into the buffer tube than the 5.56 BCG. Because of this excessive travel, there is a possibility of damaging the bolt catch by putting unnecessary pressure on it. In addition to the full buffer, I was also sent a heavier buffer in case I had problems.

For the first few tests, I'm curious to see how this build works. Honestly, this is the first AR shock I've ever tried, so I crossed over and went to my favorite part, the steel part...
I brought 10 boxes of UMC 115 grain and 10 boxes of 147 grain along with a stack of new Glock mags. 9mm AR Carbine with Break Free CLP is widely lubricated and fired.

The rifle performed flawlessly during this shooting session at 25 yards of steel. 1000 shots without failure.
B&t Spc9 9mm Pistol Glock Magazine Lower, Bt 500003 Pdw G Tb, Bt500003pdwgtb
As fun as it is, with your eyes closed, you won't be able to tell the difference between this carbine and the more expensive B&T. Until then… Mission Accomplished! The rifle is as smooth and accurate as a Magpul MBUS… and as much fun as you can get with an AR.
In the next few weeks, I hope to spend more time with it, get a feel for the accuracy of the paper, and put as many ammo as possible. Bottom line, I also think the 8.3" by 4" barrel and
